Ballistic Specifications,

Harrow Security Vehicles in B6 level are armoured using materials, both opaque and transparent, that meet or exceed the requirements of the European CEN ***2/*3 and CEN ***3 standards to the level FB6 for opaque areas and BR6 for transparent areas.

Armouring

All four sides of the passenger compartment and the roof of the vehicle are protected using high-quality armour steel and glass defeating 7.*2x*1mm M*0 Nato Ball ammunition (U.S. NIJ level III, CEN level FB6/BR6) and 5.*6x*5 SS**9 ammunition (CEN level FB5/BR5 and FB6/BR6) at 0° incidence (*0° to the surface) and *0m range according to CEN***3 and CEN***2.

Opaque Areas:

All opaque areas including the roof are protected against the following and all lesser weapons/ ammunitions at *0° impact angle in accordance with the above specifications.

• Two DM *1 (German Norm) detonated simultaneously

• The armouring is integrated with the vehicles structure and is self-supporting so as to avoid excessive stress on the vehicles original structure.
• The armouring around the drivers position is fitted with large flat ballistic glass in order to maximise the drivers field of vision
• The interior armour-frame provides overlap for the large-surface armour components such as the door armour-plates and the windows.
• Hinge mounting points are reinforced both in the pillars and in the doors where applicable in a way that the armouring of the door is supported by the armouring of the pillar.
• Heavy-duty hinges with in-built door-stop.
• The Guards compartment is separated from the drivers cab by an armoured fixed partition.
• The Guards compartment is separated from the vault area by a steel partition and is accessed by a side-door.
• The vault can be accessed through a door in the partition with the guards compartment.
• All doors are fitted with electronically-controlled interlocking high-security safety locks. Additional manual bolt-locks on all doors.

• Fuel-tank,  battery and ECU protected with steel armour-plates.
